Eligibility for receiving widow allowance has been reduced from 40 years to 21 years.
5000 laptops were provided to SHGs and rural administrative assistants and 116 sewing machines were provided to SHG members.
To further empower women, SHGs were given the task of sewing uniforms of 2004 government school students.
